MODEL: HURRICANE (Wet Blast Machine)

The Hurricane Wet Blast Machinery uses a sealless slurry pump to agitate the abrasive and water into a slurry mixture. The slurry mixture is then pumped to the abrasive blast gun where air pressure accelerates the mixture to the desired pressure rating. The cabinet exhaust blower () and filter maintains a negative cabinet pressure and prevents abrasive mist from escaping the system. During operation, the fresh water timed window rinse () assembly maintains operator visibility through the view window. The cabinet light is located outside the blast cabinet and light enters through a light window located on top of the unit. The Hurricane machine is available in three cabinet sizes and all three machines are constructed using 14 and 12 gauge 304 stainless steel.

While most applications today require dry blasting, some remain that are truly jobs for wet machinery. Chemically clean surface, critical plating and electrical components to name a few.

Hurricane 3636 Wet Blast Machine

All parts coming in contact with the abrasive slurry are constructed using 304 stainless steel material. Exception, sealless slurry pump, cast iron housing…brass impeller.
