Abrasive Blasting 101
Many people wrongly assume that quality dust collectors are only critical for industrial sandblasting equipment. This is just plain incorrect. Regardless of how many parts you are processing, a high-quality dust collector makes a world of difference when operating a sandblasting cabinet.
Media Blast & Abrasive’s line of micro industrial blast cabinets is comprised of siphon and direct pressure models specifically for proper control and flow of smaller amounts of abrasive (measured in pounds per minute). These machines come with large negative pressure dust collectors for clean operation in small spaces and are capable of recycling the abrasive.
Light duty blast cabinets have a large share of the sandblasting cabinet market today. Unfortunately, most buyers wrongly believe that “heavy duty and robust” are a terms to describe the quality of the machine.
