These media blasters are designed to accommodate applications that require a large, 100% welded cabinet to contain the blast. They use a smaller gun size and dust collector for more intermittent machine use or not 100% large part cleaning. Options can include Fixed Turntable or Mobile Work Cart. Each of these machines include our Patented Abrasive Separator Reclaimer used to remove the dust and spent abrasive maintaining the best possible cabinet visibility. Media Blast uses a mil-spec wood crating technique to ship these blasting cabinets across the country without damage. Typical use would be cleaning areas to be welded on large heavy parts, but daily operation is normally not required. For daily operation, and higher production, always look at Industrial designed cabinets using larger faster gun sizes.
Media Blast® Media Blasters are a popular choice for many applications due to their unique advantages over other blasting methods and competitor’s cabinets. For example, the wet blasting process used by Vapor Media Blasters reduces the amount of dust and debris produced, making it more environmentally friendly and reducing the need for additional clean-up efforts. Additionally, the patented Abrasive Separator Reclaimer feature of Media Blasters manufactured by Media Blast® separates spent abrasive and dust in dry blasting cabinets. This reduces waste and improves cabinet visibility, which leads to less downtime and maintenance. The ability of Media Blast® Media Blasters to accommodate large, heavy parts is also a significant advantage over other blasting methods that may have limitations in terms of size and weight.
It’s important to note that there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to blasting methods, and the best method will depend on the specific needs of each application. Media Blast® Media Blasters offer unique advantages, such as wet blasting with reduced dust and debris and the patented Abrasive Separator Reclaimer. Other methods may be more appropriate for certain applications. Ultimately, the goal is to choose the blasting method that will provide the best results while also taking into account factors such as safety, efficiency, and environmental considerations.
