Free standing automatic timed reverse pulse dust collectors are used for extended blasting operations, multiple guns, or multiple machine operation and or multiple daily shifts. They help reduce dust collector maintenance time and increase daily production. They can include an optional Negative Pressure HEPA After Filter commonly used for Cell Operation to increased filter efficiency but most importantly, they remove the sandblasting cabinet operator from the daily cleaning cycle for the blast cabinet that increase daily production.
The automatic-timed-reverse/pulse cleaning cycle, (R/P), by Media Blast® is pulse time adjustable but this collector also includes the manual reverse pulse cleaning controls allowing filter cleaning with the blower on or off at any time.
The unit is shipped with its adjustable legs in the lowered position allowing complete machine assembly and shipment using standard enclosed common carrier trucking.
These dust collectors include: Two Dust Air Inlets, Integrated Vacuum Cleaning Assembly, Magnahelic Cartridge Filter Monitor Gauge, 20 Gallon Capacity Dust Waste Drum and they come standard with 2HP 1100 CFM Blower and Blower Silencer with a larger 3 HP blower assembly available. Understand these dust collectors will have the external static pressure of the blasting cabinet added to the operation of the dust collector. The 2 hp blower would normally be a 3 hp motor and the 3 hp blower would normally be a 5 hp blower assembly.
The Media Blast® R/P Free Standing Dust Collectors are available in two model sizes, 4-Cartridge with 880 square feet of filter surface or 6-Cartridge with 1320 square feet of filter cartridge surface. Both occupy almost the same machine footprint. Both units include the Integrated Vacuum Clean-Up Assembly, Adjustable Legs for easy shipment with vertical filters and Magnahelic Monitor Gauge.
These dust collectors are built for sandblasting application unlike the horizontal filter units commonly found used in Industry for lighter dust loads. Air Pollution Agencies favor vertical filters for sand blasting cabinets to gain the advantage of gravity during automatic reverse pulse cleaning.
