The patented CrystalBlast® Summit™ Master is a new and different approach to standard sand carving. Though similar to the standard CrystalBlast® Summit, there are differences. How are the two sand blasting cabinets different? The Summit® Master comes standard with a 440 sq.ft. dual cartridge dust collector already attached. It also comes with the larger 2 hp 1100 cfm blower and silencer for an increased daily machine duty cycle.
The Master Design includes the pneumatic abrasive conveyor to remove all the abrasive from inside the cabinet each time it exits the nozzle. This is used to aerate and keep fine abrasive flowing in larger cabinet sizes when using fine abrasives. This is great for production. The high-efficiency cyclone separator reclaimer is the most effective mechanical separator reclaimer design available today for the separation and reuse of any blasting media size. The abrasive storage hopper located below the cyclone separator holds the abrasive vertically above the pressure pot and quickly loads it back into the pressure pot when the operator decides the pot needs refilling. This allows larger optional pressure pots to be added for extended run times that are all part of extended running times and higher daily production output.
Standard Sand carving applications are possible using the front-loading, high-velocity work ports that easily convert to optional brushed port with slit-rubber sealing curtain for larger wider parts. Additionally, you can still open and use the side access door for larger parts just like any other Sand carver blast cabinet.
The Summit Master sand blasting cabinet has the ability to reduce part setup and processing time on long or short part runs by using the new patented design and system which utilizes its special trapezoid shape with separate sealed chamber to allow the operator to simply blast outside the inside cabinet we call the “Box”. Use the new mold system or the universal diaphragm fixture plate and the operator can process the parts outside the blasting chamber saving time by not using any protection taping. This new patented design also keeps the part cleaner because the part is being blasted outside the abrasive containment chamber.

The large standard 440 square with 2 hp blower can support an optional HEPA after filter seen in the photo increasing the efficiency of the dust collector allowing cell operation or operation is smaller spaces.

We recommend a 220-volt single-phase compressor electrical power supply for operation using 3/32″ nozzle, ask for details when using 1/8″ nozzle ID. Air compressors vary greatly, check the cfm output on the compressor being used or visit Air Basics for more information on compressor selection. Pro Tip: Never buy a compressor using the displacement cfm number, always use the second cfm volume number listed with 90-100 psi inside the tank, because tank pressure reduces performance.
