The N-200 Cyclone Siphon sand blasting cabinet is made from 100% welded 12- and 14-gauge CRS. It was designed for applications requiring fine and ultra-fine abrasive, but it can also operate with most standard abrasive 60-325 mesh. Look at the HEPA after filter in available options for machine cell operation using 220 mesh and finer.
The N-200 Cyclone dry siphon sandblasting cabinet has the lowest abrasive usage of any machine design. It is also one of the most effective type of sandblasting equipment at controlling and recycling fine abrasive blasting media (180 to 325 mesh). Fine abrasive can cause visibility problems; mixing valve feed problems and high abrasive usage rates.
The N-200 Cyclone uses a pneumatic conveyor to help keep the fine media aerated, dry, and flowing. The external cyclone separator reclaimer also removes the abrasive from inside the cabinet. It stores it outside each time it exits the blasting nozzle. The cyclone is the most efficient mechanical separator reclaimer used capable of working with abrasive as small as15 microns. Media Blast also has the common barrel type cyclone separator, less efficient, for use with larger abrasives. Our high efficiency cyclone separator is the most efficient on the market today. This also creates down-draft cabinet airflow, the best cabinet visibility available today.
The N-200 Cyclone blast cabinet can operate with almost any abrasive type and size. However, it's the only machine designed to use fine and ultra-fine abrasives without abrasive carry over into the dust collector. When using ultra-fine abrasives, 220 mesh and finer, it is suggested the optional HEPA after filter be used to control the dust found with lesser quality ultra-fine blasting media found in the market today. When using standard or large abrasive sizes in a siphon abrasive delivery look to the N-200 design with patented internal cyclone separator reclaimer and internal abrasive storage for a more economical machine with fewer maintenance parts, both models are needed for today's abrasives applications.

Pro Tip: 80% of the blasting cabinets used today are siphon abrasive delivery. Many people avoid purchasing a siphon Mediablaster® because they are incorrectly led to think that this abrasive delivery method is slower. This is not correct.

The standard gun size for the N-200 is 3/8″ using 46 cfm at 80 psi. Smaller and larger gun sizes are available for applications with larger and smaller air compressors. Air compressors vary greatly, check the cfm output on the compressor being used or visit Air Basics for more information on compressor selection. Pro Tip: Never buy a compressor using the displacement cfm number, always use the second cfm volume number listed with 90-100 psi inside the tank, because tank pressure reduces performance.
