The Cobra Stage II Siphon is one of two Cobra blast cabinet models are available. Both are 100% welded, and include a negative pressure, 100% welded dust collector design using MERV tested and certified cartridge filtration. The Cobras are the best of the smaller, compact sandblasting cabinets. The faster cleaning Stage II includes a larger gun size than the Stage I machine.
The Cobra’s all-negative pressure cabinet and negative dust collector are 100% welded using 14-gauge steel. This includes two (2) side access doors on the blasting cabinet and on an access service door on the dust collector, which includes hopper bottom dust storage with MERV tested cartridge filtration technology.
This MediaBlaster® unit was designed for general repair shops, in-house maintenance, home shops and automotive repair shops when compressed air is limited to air compressors operating on only 220-volt single phase power supply that is normally limited to 25 cfm maximum. This mediablaster is primarily used for glass bead blasting.
The advanced cartridge filter technology makes the Cobra Stage II machine best in their field without considering our larger Industrial sand blasting cabinet lineups. Cobra units have a taller-wider cabinet size than the Space Saver model. The Cobra Stage II includes the faster cleaning 22 cfm gun size, a larger 500 cfm blower assembly, and semi-automatic vibrator dust collector cleaning cycle that cleans with the flick of an air switch like our Industrial machines. The Stage II Cobra has all the air controls including a cabinet blow-off gun, a gun size matched to the larger 500 cfm blower, separator reclaimer and dust collector filters size. The Stage II cleans faster using more gun cfm, has a pneumatic filter cleaning cycle for effortless dust collector cleaning with a larger blower to handle the larger gun size.

We recommend a 220-volt single-phase electrical power supply for the air compressor. Pro Tip: Never buy a compressor using the displacement cfm number; always use the second cfm volume number listed with 90-100 psi inside the tank, because tank pressure reduces performance.
