The Dominator Siphon abrasive blast cabinet is Industrial sandblasting equipment designed specifically for Production capacity operation in the automotive industry. We consider production operation to be one (1) hour or more of daily machine operation using a production gun size consuming about 25 to 90 cfm of compressed air per minute.
The side mounted negative pressure dust collector on this sandblasting cabinet uses the most advanced cartridge filtration. It was designed specifically for the automotive industry to save floor space for the automotive industry. The effortless pneumatic dust collector cleaning cycle at the flip of an air switch ensures a longer machine duty cycle, cleaner work area, and longer blower service life. The replaceable cartridge style filter, (MERV Tested and Certified), offers 220 Sq.Ft. of dust storage filter surface. It also cleans using a semi-automatic vibrator, and requires only minutes to rebuild when replacement blast cabinet parts are needed.
The capacity to store dust and ease of dust collector service is what makes this sand blast cabinet the right choice for Production facilities. A larger, rear mounted dual filter option is available for higher daily operation and or larger abrasive gun operation, ask for details.
Doubling the air usage increases frictional heat and normally reduces the processing time by 2/3 making the cleaning speed almost a Geometric Progression.

The standard gun size for the Dominator is 3/8″ using 46 cfm at 80 psi. Smaller and larger gun sizes are available for applications with larger and smaller air compressors. Air compressors vary greatly, check the cfm output on the compressor being used or visit Air Basics for more information on compressor selection. Pro Tip: Never buy a compressor using the displacement cfm numbers; always use the second cfm volume number listed with 90-100 psi inside the tank.
