The VAC-110-400 Dust Collector is best in class - as are all our collectors.
Vacuum blower operated blast cabinet dust collectors move only a small about of cfm from the cabinet. Visibility can lower as the dust builds up inside the cabinet unless you are operating a smaller gun size, 12 cfm and less. Unfortunately, with a smaller gun, processing time increases as does the cost of operation.
The VAC-110-400 by Media Blast® includes features from the VAC-110 Vacuum Dust Collector to include the filter rapper cleaning assembly and the removable dust drawer. It is a 110 sq.ft. MERV Test filter cartridge that has an efficiency rating just below HEPA filters. Understand the filter cartridge must be cleanable and HEPA filter are not. Also included is a 1/2 hp 400 cfm Class III Pressure Blower operating at 3450 rpm for higher static operation and six, (6), feet of flexible duct for connection to your existing very messy blasting cabinet.
Abrasive separator reclaimers can remove the dust from the abrasive being recycled but only if your machine includes one. When you buy a small inexpensive blasting cabinet you soon find the item that works poorly is the dust collector. Most inexpensive blasting cabinets are inexpensive because they are missing the dust collector or have a non-pressure class III blower. You can start looking for a better dust collector but most are positive pressure dust bags meant to collect wood dust of 5 to 6 microns. Save yourself some time and purchase an appropriate dust collector from the start!
